The region's second main commercial centre alongside Ulladulla is the historic town of Milton. Founded in 1860 Milton is a popular destination for day-trippers seeking eclectic art galleries, markets and boutiques along with furnishings and antiques. A number of quality restaurants, cafes and two wineries, two pubs and the refurbished Milton Theatre, all add to the charm and atmosphere Milton, just a 15 minute drive from The Lakes.
