It's all in the timing!
Developers of new master planned communities know all too well that keeping to construction timeframes can be fraught with challenges. And just quietly, there is a saying in the development world that when a building contractor gives you a date for completion, you add another two months!
Well that couldn't be further from the fact at The Lakes, with civil engineering contractor, Armpell Civil setting a cracking pace on the third stage of The Lakes and well ahead of schedule, thanks to the 'weather gods' and a great onsite team of experts in their respective fields.
Civil works are expected to be completed as early as July/August which is no mean feat given roads, roundabouts, lighting, landscaping and kerbing need to be built in tandem with the installation of underground pipe works, electrical cabling and NBN - before home builders can start building the dream homes for 165 families who will call The Lakes Dolphin Point home.
Land settlements on the next stage are on track for October/November 2016, which is timely as home-builders move on site and also take over the daily duck feeding duties started by the Armpell team!
